When the UAE hosted the UN’s Climate Conference, COP28 they re-envisioned the guest experience for collective impact.
As the UAE geared up to host the world at COP28 in Dubai, I worked alongside a small team of designers and project managers to codify an event strategy that united six independent divisions under one strategic vision.
Highlights:
Conducted stakeholder interviews from negotiators to policymakers to researchers and scientists to identify and design for moments of impact throughout the two-week event
Collaborated with behavioral analysts to develop Signature Experiences and Design Principles that would underpin each and every event activation
Designed and facilitated a cross-functional workshop (60+ attendees) that united Marketing, Comms, Operations, Programming, and Event Strategy, including the developer of User Journey Mapping materials
Developed and maintained strategy and progress overview materials to inform Steering Committee stakeholders
