When the Early Childhood Authority saw an opportunity to support children, they set out to understand parents’ needs.

In order to better support parents in the early stages of parenthood, we conducted research to identify and design for their needs. The work resulted in a service delivery concept aimed at providing knowledge and services to parents throughout early childhood.

  • Designed and conducted primary research to identify and substantiate key challenges in the audience landscape, including stakeholder interviews and User Journey design maps to engage new parents

  • Developed upskilling materials to introduce new skills to the client team including Secondary Research Module & Design Thinking curriculum

  • Designed client engagement sessions with a focus on interactive and playful interactions that inspired a “childlike” sense of wonder

  • Identified core design principles and service offerings relevant to the regional needs to inform and shape service concepts

  • Led development and copywriting of decks and presentations
